Women’s professional volleyball team Pepper Savings Bank AI Peppers has hired John Grossman, who has extensive coaching experience.
“With nearly 20 years of coaching experience in the U.S. and Canada, Coach Grossman will help strengthen the team’s defensive organization,” the team announced today.
메이저사이트Grossman’s coaching career began in 2004 as a youth volleyball coach for the YMCA of the Western United States, where he placed many players on prestigious volleyball teams through a variety of junior coaching experiences. His coaching career spans 20 years and includes stops at the Delaware Military Institute and Arcadia University. In 2022, he served as an advisor to the Canadian men’s national volleyball team.
Most recently, he served as a volunteer coach for the NCAA top-ranked North Carolina State University volleyball team, where he was credited with significantly raising the team’s dig level and developing each player through statistical analysis. He has also held leadership roles with Gold Medal Squad, a volleyball camp and coaching education organization.
“Coach Grossman specializes in building a solid defensive system by strengthening defensive skills such as digs and blocks,” said a team official. “We believe his expertise will play a key role in strengthening the team’s defense and improving our performance.”
Coach Grossman arrived in the country via Incheon Airport on February 2 and immediately traveled to Gwangju to join the team in training.
“With his excellent coaching and analytical skills, as well as the know-how he has gained from his rich coaching experience, we expect him to make a significant contribution to improving AI Peppers’ defensive organization,” said Kim Dong-un, head coach of Pepper Savings Bank.
